Katy is the licensed and certified Family Nurse Practitoner who founded Desert Wellness Solutions in 2023. Our practice is focused on meeting the needs of families and individuals in our community by providing sports, camp, school, and employment physicals in your home on your schedule.

Katy began her medical career on the kidney/liver/pancreas transplant unit at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. She has also worked as a beside nurse in a variety of units including medical-surgical, cardiac, neurology, orthopedics, intensive care & step-down, and inpatient drug rehabilitation

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Katy has worked in mental health, chronic pain, and convenience care.

Katy has been full-time faculty in the Nursing Department at Pima Community College and in the College of Nursing at University of Arizona teaching associate to master degree seeking students.

In addition to serving clients at Desert Wellness Solutions, Katy continues to teach at PCC. "Teaching is my passion and I am honored to be a small part of ensuring a healthy and robust nursing workforce to serve our community for years to come".
